Returns
Return & Exchange Policy - We accept return/exchange for any reasons.
Buying something as important as your wedding gown online can be daunting, therefore we have devised a simple policy to help you feel safe buying your gown online. you will never be pressured into keeping a gown that is unsuitable for any reason, we just have a few rules which we need to stick to.
we can accept returns for refund or exchange but appreciate if you could let us know within 4 business days of receipt
We only accept returns or exchanges on any goods that have not been altered and have not been worn. We cannot accept returns or exchanges on custom sized dresses or on dresses that have been customized by the designer for you.
In order for your return or exchange to be accepted, we ask that you follow these steps:
• please notify us within 4 working days from when your order has been delivered to the designated shipping address
• You need to contact us before you return your order any item returned without notifying us may not be credited or exchanged.
• The item must be in brand-new, unworn condition.
• We must receive the item within 7 days after after receipt, if for any reason you would need to keep the gown for longer than 7days before making a decision, please let us know and we will be happy to extend this within reason.
• Once we receive and check the goods we will confirm that we have received it and will issue the refund or exchange the item for you. Shipping costs are non-refundable.
• For exchanging items, re-delivery cost may be charged.
Terms of service
PARTIES
The Buyer: that person whose name appears on the Order Form as seeking to purchase goods and/or services.
The Seller: Island Elegance, 15 Spring Gardens, Ventnor, PO38 1QX
GENERAL
The Buyer's order is accepted on the basis that the following terms and conditions are to apply and will comprise the only terms and conditions to which the contract is subject.
1. ACCEPTANCE
It is the Buyer's responsibility to ensure that upon acceptance of the order it provides the Seller with all reasonable and sufficient information to enable the Seller to proceed with the order forthwith.
2. LIMITS OF CONTRACT
This acceptance includes only such goods and accessories as are specified herein.
3. PRICES
Prices are subject to change without notice. The Seller reserves the right to amend prices given to cover any variation in cost which takes place after the date hereof. All price lists, quotes, order confirmation and invoices are in GB pounds Sterling.
4. PAYMENT
Unless otherwise agreed at the time of order, payment is expected in full.
5. DESPATCH
Where the Seller gives a date for delivery all such dates are approximate only. The Seller will use best endeavours to ensure that such dates are met, but is not responsible for any direct or indirect losses which may arise from failure to despatch or deliver within the time stated. In addition the seller shall not be responsible for failure to deliver or delays in delivery occasioned by causes beyond its control. Should despatch be delayed for any reason whatsoever a reasonable extension of time shall be granted and until such extension has expired the contract shall not be capable of cancellation by reason only of such delay.
6. VARIATION
No variation in the contract shall take place unless notified by the Seller in writing. No person, agent or representative of the Seller has any authority on its behalf of make orally any additional qualification or variation to the contract or of these conditions.
7. CANCELLATION
All orders are accepted on a non-cancellable, no return basis unless the Seller consents in writing to a cancellation and then only upon such terms and conditions then to be agreed upon which shall include the sellers protection against loss.
8. WAIVER
Any waiver by the Seller of any breach of these conditions shall not be construed as a waiver of any other existing or future breach.
9. APPLICABLE LAW
This contract shall be subject to English Law and the jurisdiction of the English Courts
